Bello my fur-rends, it's Jonathan again! This is an exciting week and I'll tell you why...
On 30 June 2021, it marked the moment of Project Humanity as it was our official launch. We invited Aunty Aileen to our stream to talk more about the efforts of My Pets Haven. Among the guests of the show were our lecturer for this course, Dr Stephen Poon and our DEAN of Faculty of Liberal Arts, Dr Wong. Additionally, we also had our sponsor, Renee in the stream too.
It was exciting to hear Aunty Aileen talked about how they rescued stray dogs as well as taking good care of them. She said it's not an easy job and indeed it is not. Money is really important, and more funds are needed to neuter and spay the strays to control diseases and the population.
Here's a screenshot from My Pets Haven in Instagram, thanks for tagging us!

Can you believe that one shot of tranquiliser costs RM180????
Neither can I, everything is money. It also costs them around RM160 to neuter a cat and it's more expensive to neuter a dog due to its body size.
Throughout the chat, I could see how passionate is Aunty Aileen and her efforts are commendable.
Aside from that, we also managed to see Dr Wong's adopted cat, Max and it is a feisty little ginger! Of course, not to forget that our Ms Amalina has 12 cats at her home!
One thing that was unexpected, Aunty Aileen stayed with us for more than 1 hour and 30 minutes! Initially, we only allocated about 30 minutes but we have nothing to lose.
Not long after, that we only had like 30 minutes for Jackbox but it was super fun. Hint: I won the last round HUHU!
Anyway, the opening launch is really successful. We are grateful that Dr Stephen takes out his time to attend it, so he could see how great we are, hahahaha! Things are looking great indeed, it's considered a minor victory for us! Next week will be greater HURRAH!
This is Jonathan and thanks for hearing my rants and boasts. Peace out and we will see you next week!
