This is Bailey!
I would like to welcome back everypawdy with this picture of Baily, it is Week 9 this week and today I'd also like to talk about something different, which is the story of Bailey!
This is Bailey when he is still taking shelter at the factory.
A dog gave birth to 5 puppies in a factory that it took shelter and yes one of the puppy is Bailey.
He grew up in awful environment with his siblings where their basic necessities is denied. They have no proper shelter, no clean water and food.
However, every cloud has a silver lining. Stephanie, one of the employee that works in the factory's office was kind enough to offer them clean water and food daily.
Stephanie is an animal lover, she spends a good amount of time in her life rescuing dogs off the streets and find them their furever home. She also take in dogs that are sick or unwell, foster them and find them homes after they recover from illness. Stephanie do also have dogs of her own that she cares for.
One day, Stephanie received a phone call from her colleague breaking a bad news to her. It is about one of the foreign worker at the factory who was cruel enough to put rat poison into the dog's food that took away few lives including 3 puppies which is Bailey's siblings.
Bailey and one of her sister was lucky enough to have made it without eating the poisoned food.
Stephanie was so angry and upset yet nothing could be done. Therefore she decided to rescue the puppies and foster them until she finds them a forever home.

This is Bailey when he first got to Stephanie's.
He was dirty, he had worms in his stomach, he had a bit skin condition and his fur coat was unhealthy due to sleeping on floor with sand and cement powder.
Day by day, he got better and better under the care of Stephanie with some help from her friend.
In no time he was healthy enough to be adopted. Therefore, Stephanie has utilized the power of social media, she posted a post of Bailey up for adoption in a Facebook dog's group.
And yes here's where you can guess what happened. I fell in love with Bailey the moment I saw him. I direct messaged Stephanie and lucky enough, I was chosen to adopt Bailey among others that enquired about him.
This is Bailey on the way to my place!
These are pictures of Bailey first day at my place. He adapted right away!
He did not cry and he wasn't afraid of the new environment at all, in fact he was excited with his tail wagging all the time. He was curious about almost everything and he is just a very happy puppy.
And he gets along with my other dog Tyrus as well! Although, he really does like to make Tyrus to play with him by annoying him.
In no time, Bailey learned the command "sit". Although he was a bit mischievous initially because of teething problems, he has been a bit destructive, plucking my mother's plant leaves, chewing off our shoes and hiding them and "unpacking" our parcels. *which was coincidently a parcel of his treats and he finished one packet of it. 😂
Fast forward to 2 months later! Bailey is about 7 to 8 months old now and we kept in touch with Stephanie and I would update her about Bailey every month and I told her she could visit us once in a while too! Unfortunately due to the pandemic, travelling more than 10km is not allowed. Thus, we are still waiting for a suitable time for a tiny reunion of Bailey and his fosterer. *hoping he still remembers her
Here's a video of Bailey and Tyrus on walks but sadly, he has not been going on walks lately due to the new SOP which outdoor activities aren't allowed.
Well all in all, I would say Bailey is a happy and a healthy dog with a lot of love to give. He is living his best life with me now hahahahaha *I mean could be better if there's no pandemic, as he could not visit dog parks and do much outdoor activities for now. At least he can still play fetch and enjoy his toys at home.
That's all for today on the story of Bailey! Thank you for making it all the way here finishing the story. I hope you enjoyed Bailey's story and remember to follow us on Instagram @proj_humanity and on Facebook at Project Humanity for more contents!
Thank you! See you next week!
Best regards,
